What are the hours and the set times?
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are only available online through Eventbrite. If available, tickets will be sold at the doors for gate prices.
Does my child require a ticket?
Children aged 12 and under are free and do not require a ticket; they must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian with a ticket. All children must be registered at the Box Office before entering the festival grounds.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes. Groups of tickets for friends/family may all be under 1 name BUT each ticket will only scan in once! Because of this, we do not reccommend buying tickets off of any second-party reseller sites and only off of the official Eventbrite page. Do so at your own risk; duplicate tickets will NOT be granted access or refunds.
When will I receive my wristband?
You will receive your wristband upon entry into the festival. Please print off your ticket or have it ready on your cell phone to redeem. We will NOT replace any lost, stolen or tampered wristbands.
What amenities are available at the festival?
What is the refund policy?
There are NO refunds; the event is rain or shine! Lineup is subject to change.
Is there seating?
There is no seating but there is plenty of lovely grass! We encourage guests to bring a blanket or towel if you need a break from all the dancing. Soundtrack Music Festival is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Leave your home base unattended at YOUR OWN RISK! Folding chairs, lawn chairs or festival chairs of any kind will NOT be permitted on-site. Check out the site map on our Instagram or Facebook pages!
Can I leave and come back?
Unlike most other festivals, we are happy to let you in and out as long as you have valid credentials and are ok being searched at our discretion prior to re-entry. However, if your wristband appears to be tampered with, we may deny access!
Where can I park? Is there a shuttle service?
There is absolutely NO festival parking on-site or at the Kinsmen Sports Centre for festival-goers; only vehicles with proper accreditation will be allowed in. There will be a Soundtrack Shuttle Service to bring you onto site from Windsor Car Park and Knoxville's Tavern/Corona LRT Station, or park at any of the nearby parking lots (including RE/MAX Field) and walk across the Walterdale Bridge. Pedal bike parking will be available (bring your own lock). Check out the shuttle map on our Instagram or Facebook pages and follow along for more information.
Is there secure bicycle parking?
Will there be alcohol available?
Yes - the full site is licensed! Alcohol service for those 18 years of age and older (with valid government issued ID) will run for the entire event; last call at 10:00pm. Minors found consuming or carrying alcohol will be escorted off the site without refund and will be referred to the Edmonton Police Service for further action. Intoxicated patrons may be asked to leave the festival site at the discretion of security staff. Please remember to drink responsibly.
Is there a kids area?
There is - thanks to our friends at Birdie Break! To pre-register your children or for full information visit birdiebreak.com.

Management/security reserves the right to prohibit entry to persons and/or items based on festival rules and their discretion. All guests and their belongings will be subject to search prior to entering the festival site.

About the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton
Since it's inception in 1925, the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton has provided millions of dollars to numerous local and national charities. The festival aims to become a flagship donation generator for the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton and would aid in enhancing the well being of Edmontonians.
Music’s impact on memory is called The Mozart Effect. Research has shown that ALL music (not just classical) with 60 beats per minute, simultaneously activates the left and right hemispheres of the brain which, in turn, maximizes learning and the retention of information. What’s on your soundtrack?
